More than 25 years ago, I arrived at SwCC — uncertain of my gifts, with a lackluster GPA, and labeled for failure. Southwestern Christian College changed all of that.
With guidance, mentorship, prayers, and support, my academic journey transformed. My grades rose from the cellar to the Dean’s List, and I discovered my calling. After graduating, I pursued further studies at Perkins School of Theology and United Theological Seminary.
In January 2017, I was appointed President and CEO of Southwestern Christian College, the same HBCU that laid the foundation for my faith and success.
As President, my vision is to ensure SwCC remains a place where faith, education, and community converge. Our goal is to support students of all backgrounds, empowering them to rise above challenges and achieve their dreams.
