Greetings, and thank you for considering Southwestern Christian College (SwCC) as the place to pursue your education in the United States. We are proud to welcome students from around the world into our faith-driven, Christ-centered community.

SwCC offers international students the opportunity to receive a quality education, experience American campus life, and prepare for leadership and service in a global context.

Note: All scholarships, gifts, and awards must be approved in writing by the President’s Office.

How to Apply

Step 1: Application Deadlines

To ensure enough time for visa processing and travel arrangements, applications must be submitted by the following dates:

  • Fall Semester: August 17
  • Spring Semester: January 10

We strongly encourage applicants to apply early to allow sufficient time for admissions processing, housing placement, and immigration paperwork.

Step 2: Required Forms

International applicants must complete and submit all required forms to the Office of Admissions. Forms may be submitted online (when requested by your advisor) or mailed to:

Step 3: Additional Documents

International students must also provide the following documents for enrollment consideration:

  • Official Transcripts — Certified copies of all high school or college transcripts (translated into English if necessary).
  • Immunization Records — Complete health and vaccination records.
  • Passport-Style Photograph — Recent 2x2 photograph.
  • English Proficiency (if applicable) — TOEFL or IELTS scores may be requested if prior education was not conducted in English.

Step 4: Application Fees & Deposits

The following fees are required to process international applications:

  • Application Fee: $100 (non-refundable)
  • Dorm Room Deposit: $50 (non-refundable, required to secure housing)

Payments must be made during the online application process.

Immigration Support

Once admitted, SwCC will provide guidance on securing the proper student visa and will issue the required I-20 form for F-1 visa applicants. Our admissions staff will assist you in navigating the immigration process and answer any questions related to studying in the United States.
