New Horizons Campaign
The Mission:
The New Horizons Campaign was created as a safeguard to a sustainable future for the school. It is a six-year, comprehensive fundraising strategy to generate $7M on behalf of Southwestern Christian College by December 2025. In a joint effort by the Board of Trustees, Administration, Alumni, and Supporters, the campaign is endorsed as an opportunity for individuals to further capitalize this 70-year old Christian institution.
CARES Act- Reporting
In accordance with Section 18004 (e) of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (“CARES Act”) Southwestern Christian College acknowledges the following:

Southwestern Christian College (SwCC) signed and returned to the Department of Education the Certification and Agreement document under Section 18004(a)(1) of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Securities Act (CARES) to provide Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (HEERF). This agreement also applies to the Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (HEERF III) funds under Section 314(a)(1) of the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA). Fifty percent of the funds received under the CRRSAA will be used to provide emergency grants to students in direct emergency aid.
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex for any college or university that receives federal financial funding.
Title IX states: No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.

Title IX covers all forms of sexual discrimination and sexual misconduct, including but not limited to sexual harassment, rape, sexual assault, sexual exploitation, stalking, dating violence and domestic violence. Southwestern Christian College is committed to ensuring that all reports of sexual discrimination and misconduct reported by an individual are promptly addressed to determine what occurred, take interim steps to protect the individual if necessary, provide a timely response to end any violence, prevent its recurrence and eliminate the effects of any discrimination.
